The 37/118 30-knife SmartDISC strander provides an increase in stranding production over the 24 knife disc system. Existing 24-knife SmartDISC stranders can be easily retrofitted to incorporate the 30-knife SmartDISC system.
The SmartDISC strander is also designed to accept Kadant Carmanah’s disposable knife system or integrated scoring knife, as an alternative to plate knives.
